Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces
- Clean restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
- Sanitize high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and countertops
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, notifying management of any needs or repairs
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents to prevent accidents or damage
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are maintained regularly
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to report issues or concerns effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
