Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Customer Service Representative, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a welcoming shopping & dining experience for every customer. Whether assisting with product demos, managing stock, or handling transactions, you’ll play a vital part in delivering a positive shopping & dining environment that keeps customers coming back.
Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales accurately and quickly
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and attention to detail
- Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays to maintain an attractive store environment
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers
- Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, dining, or cashiering preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during checkout and inventory tasks
- Experience in grocery store, dining, or similar retail environments settings is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking techniques, and product demos is desirable
Expected Shifts
- Part-time opportunities available
- Schedule hours available Monday-Friday 10:30a-7:30p; Saturday-Sunday 10:30a-4p
