Job Duties: Provide direct nursing care to students ranging from Pre-K to High School including first aid, medication administration, and emergency responseMaintain accurate and confidential student health records in accordance with state and district requirements. Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) for students with chronic or complex medical needsSupport students with a variety of medical conditions such as diabetes, asthma, seizures, allergies, and mentalhealthrelated health plansConduct staterequired screenings (vision, hearing, Scoliosis, and BMI) and submit required reportsMonitor communicable disease concerns and follow Arkansas Department of Health protocolsCollaborate with teachers, counselors, coaches, and administrators to support student wellness and participation in school activitiesMaintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper storage, documentation, and complianceParticipate in crisis response, safety drills, and emergency preparedness planningCommunicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student health needsProvide health education to students and staff when appropriatePerform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
