Part-Time Interior Designer / Design Associate
We are a growing home interiors and clothing boutique in downtown Franklin, Tennessee, specializing in home décor, furniture, lighting, and women’s apparel. As we expand our interior design services, we are seeking a talented Interior Designer / Design Associate to join our team during an exciting season of growth.
This role is ideal for someone who loves creating beautiful spaces and helping others — and who is excited by the opportunity to help shape a design program from the ground up within a small, collaborative business.
About the Role
During the first 90 days (approximately), this position will primarily function as a part-time customer service and retail role designed to provide deep familiarity with our brand, clientele, inventory, vendors, and overall customer experience.
Rather than stepping immediately into client projects, you’ll spend time:
- Learning our product lines and business vision
- Understanding our aesthetic and approach to design
- Assisting customers on the sales floor
- Building relationships with our team and clientele
- Helping create an exceptional in-store experience
As our interior design program develops, this role is intended to evolve into a more client-facing design position.
Qualifications
- Interior design education and/or experience required
- A strong visual eye and natural ability to create cozy, elevated, and well-balanced spaces
- Someone who can represent our brand exceptionally well in both the store and clients’ homes
- Comfortable balancing creative work with customer-facing retail responsibilities

Schedule & Availability
- Part-time schedule (approximately 2 days per week to start)
- Must be available to work 1-2 Saturdays per month
- We are currently closed on Sundays.
- Flexibility to support key retail periods and events as needed

Compensation
- Initial compensation range: $16–$20/hour
