SUMMARY: The Corporate Pilot is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of Company aircraft in support of executive, employee, and authorized business travel. This position ensures compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Company policies, aircraft operating procedures, and aviation safety standards. The Corporate Pilot is responsible for flight planning, risk assessment, passenger safety, aircraft readiness, and coordination of maintenance activities to ensure the aircraft is operated safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
The Corporate Pilot serves as a trusted representative of the Company and is expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, safety, and customer service. This position supports the Company's multi-state operations by providing transportation for executives, managers, employees, and authorized guests traveling between Company branches, operational facilities, customer locations, business meetings, training events, and other business-related destinations throughout the United States.
Travel may include Company operations located in California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Georgia, and other current or future Company locations. In addition to flight operations, the Corporate Pilot assists with coordinating executive travel logistics, aircraft scheduling, and aviation-related operational planning to support business objectives and organizational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Operations:
Flight Operations & Safety:

Safely operate Company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, Company policies, and established operating procedures.

Transport executives, employees, and authorized passengers in support of business operations throughout Company service areas and other approved destinations.

Exercise final authority for flight safety, including evaluating weather, airspace, airport conditions, aircraft performance, and operational risks.

Plan and execute flights, including route selection, fuel planning, and alternate airport planning.

Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections and maintain accurate flight records and documentation.

Maintain all required FAA licenses, certifications, medical qualifications, and recurrent training requirements.

Promote a culture of safety by reporting incidents, hazards, maintenance concerns, and participating in risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Aircraft Management:

Ensure aircraft airworthiness, operational readiness, and compliance with all maintenance requirements.

Coordinate inspections, repairs, fueling, hangar arrangements, and maintenance activities with approved service providers.

Maintain aircraft cleanliness, supplies, navigation databases, safety equipment, and operational materials.
Executive Travel & Passenger Services:

Provide professional, confidential, and customer-focused service to executives, employees, board members, and authorized passengers.

Coordinate aircraft availability, executive travel schedules, and related logistics to support business operations.

Conduct passenger safety briefings and assist with travel accommodations as needed.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Company operations, executive travel, and strategic business matters.
Administrative Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate flight, maintenance, fuel, scheduling, passenger, and expense records.

Coordinate travel logistics with executive leadership and business unit leaders.

Assist with aviation budgeting, planning, audits, insurance reviews, and regulatory compliance activities.

Support the development and maintenance of Company aviation procedures, standards, and operational documentation.

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Licenses and Certifications

FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating.

Current FAA Medical Certificate.

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate, preferred.
- Aircraft-specific Type Rating(s), preferred.
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certification, preferred.
Experience

Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time, including 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC). Multi-engine and instrument flight experience.
- Experience operating under FAA Part 91 regulations.

Corporate aviation and executive transportation experience, preferred.
- Turbine aircraft experience, preferred.
- Experience coordinating aircraft maintenance, aviation vendors, and multi-state business travel operations, preferred.
