The main tasks, duties, and responsibilities of this position.
- Ability to work independently to diagnose issues and identify parts
- Diagnose, identify, and repair commercial pedestrian doors
- Install hollow metal doors and frames solo (after training)
- Work on automatic sliding and swinging doors
- Replace pieces of glass
- Install new belt driven motors, sensors, and other automatic door parts
- Repair and replace door hinges, locks, closers, and panic exit devices on commercial aluminum, steel, and wood doors
- Install new automatic sliding and swinging doors
