We're seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional caregiver to assist a wonderful woman who lives in beautiful Grand Rapids.
She's bright, engaging, independent, and enjoys an active social life. This isn't a high-demand caregiving position, it's about providing peace of mind, a helping hand, and great companionship.
Typical shifts:
- 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Flexible scheduling available
What you'll do:
- Provide overnight supervision and companionship.
- Assist with occasional transfers between her chair, bed, and mobility scooter.
- Offer standby assistance for safety.
- Accompany her to dinner, concerts, social gatherings, or other outings as needed.
- Be present, attentive, and ready to help if she needs assistance.
There is plenty of downtime during many shifts, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a quiet environment. Nursing students, medical students, graduate students, retirees, or other dependable professionals often find overnight companion positions like this to be an excellent fit.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is dependable, mature, and responsible.
