Contract Length: 5+ Months
Pay Rate: $17.50–$18/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

The Accounts Receivable professional supports daily cash application and customer account activities by processing payments, researching discrepancies, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position also assists the Finance team with data entry, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end activities.
- Answer customer calls, process payments, and respond to account-related questions.
- Review customer accounts and transaction history before applying payments or issuing credits and debits.
- Accurately apply customer payments and research and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
- Assist with journal entries and month-end account reconciliations.
- Identify recurring payment or account issues and communicate concerns to management.
- Work with internal teams to obtain the information needed to correctly apply customer payments.
- Support improvements to cash application processes and overall departmental efficiency.
- Communicate clearly with customers and internal business partners regarding account and payment issues.
- Perform additional accounts receivable duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Some college coursework or specialized training preferred.
- 1–2 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written, verbal, listening, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain positive professional relationships.
