Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Collect and record vital signs, patient histories, and other relevant medical information accurately
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support when needed
- Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records, documentation, and ICD coding for billing and reporting purposes
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and coordinate referrals efficiently to optimize clinic workflow
- Support inpatient and outpatient care by understanding physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and hospital medicine practices
- Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards and assist with inventory management of medical supplies
Experience
- Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is required; experience in dermatology, urgent care, internal medicine, or hospital medicine is highly valued
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding, and medical documentation practices
- Hands-on experience with phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs collection, and patient care procedures
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is preferred; ongoing training in medical assisting or related fields is advantageous

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
