Job Summary:
As an Insurance Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients. You’ll manage renewals, policy changes, and client inquiries while ensuring coverage accuracy and compliance. Your role is crucial in maintaining client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main liaison for a book of business, responding to client needs and policy questions.
- Manage renewals, endorsements, and policy updates efficiently and accurately.
- Provide expert advice on coverage options, gaps, and recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, resolve issues, and expedite service requests.
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals and coverage summaries.
- Maintain thorough documentation in agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic).
- Proactively identify cross-sell or upsell opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with agency and carrier guidelines.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in insurance account management or a similar client service role.
- Active state Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
- Strong knowledge of personal and/or commercial insurance products.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A team player with a client-first attitude.
