Overview
We are looking for a proactive and compassionate Consumer Experience Supervisor to join our Nashville (6th and Peabody) team! The supervisor position requires open and effective communication between store upper management and sales associate staff to ensure optimal guest experience. The supervisor on duty is responsible for running the shift-assisting with staff and customer needs, maintaining proper flow of traffic throughout the store from various points of sale, ensuring safety of customers and staff in the store, and elevating customer experience through leading by example.
Job Summary
Primarily supports retail operations within the distilled spirits industry, ensuring exceptional
guest experiences, product knowledge, and adherence to brand standards. This position
contributes to sales growth, compliance, and operational efficiency. Directly assists with
store responsibilities and oversees employees to achieve sales goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
● Lead and support Consumer Experience Sales Associates in daily operations.
● Monitor floor activity, ensuring superior guest service and compliance.
● Assist with cash handling, inventory management, and opening/closing procedures.
● Assist with event and concert setup and breakdown
● Set the roster on the floor each day in the best manner for successful operation
● Communication with store management if problems arise or potential issues and
changes
● Train and coach staff in brand presentation, upselling, and safety practices.
● Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service laws and company policies.
● Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts.
● Carries out the daily tasks of the team, such as cleaning, stocking and arranging
shelves and displays, and assisting customers with merchandise sales.
● Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash
receipts, or in performing services for customers.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
● High school diploma or equivalent required.
● Previous retail, hospitality or distilled spirits experience preferred.
● Skilled in team management, customer service excellence and operational efficiency.
● Adept at driving sales, optimizing inventory, and ensuring compliance with company
policies and visual merchandising standards.
● Ability to foster a positive team culture, mentoring staff, and resolving customer
concerns with professionalism and care.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Highly organized and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
● Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
Working Conditions (Physical, Environment & Schedule Expectations)
● May lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
● Must be able to work a flexible, demanding schedule.
● Must be able to stand for long periods of time; frequently walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.
● Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or listen to others.
● Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
● Work performed primarily in a retail environment with frequent interaction with guests
and staff.
● Exposure to moderate noise and varying temperatures depending on events or location
layout.
● Schedule flexibility required for weekends, holidays, evenings, and special events
based on business needs.
