Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that support early childhood development goals, including literacy, social skills, and motor skills.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence among toddlers.
- Engage children in activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical growth through play-based learning and structured lessons.
- Monitor and document each child's developmental progress, adhering to early intervention strategies when necessary.
- Manage classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and transition activities with patience and professionalism.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns related to child welfare or development.
- Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in accordance with state regulations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to toddlers and preschool-aged children.
- Experience in curriculum development tailored for early learners, including literacy education and basic math concepts.
- Skilled in classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior management and social-emotional learning.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and specialists in special education or early intervention programs.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to ensure compliance and safety.
- Proven experience working with children in daycare settings or preschool environments; prior classroom experience is highly valued.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
