The Role
The Housekeeper plays a vital role in how residents and prospective residents experience our community. You're responsible for keeping our common areas, leasing office, amenities, and vacant units clean, fresh, and move-in ready. This is detail-oriented work that directly reflects our brand. If you take pride in a spotless space and a job done right, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Common Areas & Amenities
- Clean and maintain leasing office, clubhouse, hallways, laundry rooms, fitness center, and all common interior spaces daily
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and shared amenity spaces
- Restock supplies in common areas as needed
- Ensure all common areas are presentable and guest-ready at all times
Vacant Unit Cleaning
- Deep clean vacant apartments in preparation for new resident move-ins
- Clean appliances, cabinets, bathrooms, flooring, windows, and all surfaces to Elliron's make-ready standards
- Conduct final walk-through inspections to ensure units meet move-in standards before turnover
General Housekeeping Operations
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to supervisor
- Properly use, store, and maintain all cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with safety standards
- Report any property damage, maintenance issues, or safety hazards observed during cleaning
- Assist with special cleaning projects or events as needed
What We're Looking For
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in a residential, hospitality, or commercial setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, self-directed, and takes ownership of your work
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety practices
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
