Part-Time Turo Assistant – $25–$40 per Trip | Flexible Side Gig Near Tampa Airport
My husband and I are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented assistant to help us manage our Turo car-sharing business. This is a great opportunity for a college student, someone who works remotely, or anyone local looking for a flexible, low-stress way to earn extra money.
Location: Must live within 10 minutes of Tampa International Airport (ideally Rocky Point or westshore or off Hillsborough or nearby)
Pay:
- $25 per standard pickup or drop-off
- $50 if both pickup and drop-off happen in one trip
- $40 for last-minute drop-offs (optional if you’re available)
All Uber rides are covered by us.

✨ What is Turo?
Turo is like Airbnb—but for cars. We rent out our personal vehicles to travelers flying into and out of Tampa International Airport. You’ll help make sure each rental experience starts and ends smoothly.

Responsibilities
Drop-Off Tasks:
- Drive the car from Rocky Point to Tampa International Airport.
- Take clear, timestamped photos of the car’s interior and exterior for proof of condition (via the Turo app).
- Park the car in the Economy Lot as instructed.
- Document and upload the exact parking location in the app.
- Take an Uber back to your home (paid for by us).
Pickup Tasks:
- Uber to the airport’s Economy Lot (on us).
- Locate the vehicle using the Turo app.
- Take photos of the car to document its condition after the guest’s trip.
- Drive the car back to Rocky Point.
- Lightly clean the car: wipe down surfaces, vacuum the interior (we provide supplies).
Timing Details:
We offer flexible time windows to complete most tasks:
- Drop-Offs: You can drop the car off at the airport any time within 24 hours before the guest’s trip starts.
Example: If a trip starts at 10:00 AM on Monday, the car can be dropped off as early as 10:00 AM on Sunday.
- Pick-Ups: When a trip ends, there’s a 12-hour grace period to pick up the car unless it’s needed sooner.
Example: If a trip ends at 7:00 PM, the car can be picked up any time before 7:00 AM the next morning (unless another trip starts right after).
We’ll always let you know the timing and give you as much notice as possible—but if you’re available for the occasional last-minute trip, we offer $40 for those drop-offs.

⏰ Schedule & Flexibility
- The schedule varies based on bookings
- Some jobs can be planned in advance, while others may be last-minute (totally optional)
- You can always tell us ahead of time if you’re unavailable for any reason (vacation, work, etc.)
- We’ll coordinate based on your availability
