Job Overview
Paty Furniture is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Furniture Sales Representative to join our Kent showroom. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with sales, and is motivated to help grow a business.
As a Furniture Sales Representative, you will assist customers throughout the sales process, help generate leads, maintain online listings, and contribute to the overall success of the showroom. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys building relationships, and wants the opportunity to increase their income through performance-based bonuses.
Compensation
- Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
- Monthly performance bonuses
- Annual earning potential: $35,000–$70,000+ per year
Schedule
- Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Monday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers and guide them through the sales process
- Build relationships with customers and provide outstanding customer service
- Follow up with customer inquiries and sales leads
- Offer financing options and explain available programs
- Respond to OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace, website, and social media inquiries
- Create and maintain online listings for showroom inventory
- Take photos and videos of merchandise for advertising and social media
- Help generate customer traffic and sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate product information and pricing
- Keep the showroom clean, organized, and professionally presented
- Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and tagged
- Request customer reviews after completed sales
- Assist with general store operations as needed
Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish (Required)
- Sales, retail, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Furniture sales experience is a plus
- Comfortable using Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, social media, and basic technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
