What You’ll Do
- Lead, develop, and motivate store associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Oversee daily operations: inventory management, purchasing, stocking, and administrative functions
- Build relationships with retail, commercial, and B2B customers (auto shops, fleets, municipalities, specialty trades)
- Drive sales performance by identifying opportunities and following up on accounts
- Manage payroll, scheduling, and employee onboarding and training
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised store
- Uphold safety, security, and operational policies
What We’re Looking For
We hire based on management ability, not automotive knowledge. We’ll provide product training—you bring the leadership.
- 2+ years of management experience (required)—retail, distribution, service, or B2B environments all relevant
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable with POS systems, basic bookkeeping, and inventory tools
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Solutions-oriented mindset with solid business judgment
- Associate’s degree preferred; not required with strong management experience
- Automotive knowledge or ASE certification a plus—not required
Compensation & Benefits
- $62,400–$70,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience

Location
Cooperstown, NY 13326—an in-person role. Candidates must be able to relocate prior to start date. Cooperstown is a historic small town in central New York, home to the Baseball Hall of Fame, with a lower cost of living than most metro areas.
