Sunstates Security is seeking an experienced, proactive Marketing Manager to lead day-to-day marketing operations, supervise the Marketing Specialist, and drive brand consistency nationwide. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this role serves as a vital cross-functional partner to corporate leadership, Business Development Managers (BDMs), and regional operations teams across the country. The Marketing Manager will oversee internal and external communications, national brand reputation, multi-channel content creation, and event marketing, ensuring seamless marketing support across all business units.
This positon offers a salary range of $85,000 - $90,000 (DOE) along with an annual perfroamnce-based bonus, full medical, dental, vision and life insuruance converage, 401(k), tuition assistance, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation, PR & Award Submissions

Research and write compelling articles/blog posts highlighting industry trends, service capabilities, regional milestones, and corporate achievements.

Prepare comprehensive nominations and narrative write-ups for industry rankings, business accolades, and leadership awards.

Develop promotional messaging covering corporate announcements, CSR highlights, and service expansions.
Brand Reputation & Digital Presence

Collaborate on SEO and SEM initiatives as needed, ensuring digital assets, landing pages, and campaign copy are optimized to capture targeted enterprise leads.

Manage and monitor brand reputation across digital directories, including 40+ Google Business Profiles, Bing, Indeed & Glassdoor Company Hub, and more.

Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to develop compelling recruitment marketing assets, social hiring campaigns, careers page updates, and job board branding.

Enforce corporate visual identity standards, logo usage protocols, email signature templates, and collateral.

Assist with marketing integration, brand transition assets, and external messaging during strategic mergers and acquisitions.
Internal Communications

Oversee the end-to-end editorial calendar, layout, design, and content curation for The Lancer, our 12-page bi-monthly company newsletter.

Design, format, and distribute high-impact internal email communications company-wide.

Manage and regularly update corporate SharePoint portals, resource hubs, and internal document libraries.

Maintain company-wide employee bios, leadership profiles, and professional headshots.

Plan, write, and deploy targeted B2B email marketing campaigns to support client retention and business development initiatives.

Design and update professional marketing collateral.

Support vetted partner marketing programs and ensure adherence to co-branded logo and messaging guidelines.
Event Coordination & Community Outreach

Support the Marketing Director with planning, promotional campaigns, pre-conference attendee outreach, and collateral for major national industry trade shows and internal conferences.

Coordinate logistics, branded merchandise, and booth displays for regional branch events, career fairs, and networking functions.

Organize and promote corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including community volunteer events, charity walks, and donation drives.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Supervise, mentor, and direct the day-to-day workflow and project priorities of the Marketing Specialist.

Collaborate closely with BDMs and regional leadership to address marketing needs, hiring pushes, client initiatives, and community events across nationwide offices.

Act as a central marketing liaison for corporate departments (HR, Talent Acquisition, Training, Operations, Executive Leadership) to coordinate company-wide messaging and campaigns.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 4–7 years of marketing, corporate communications, or brand management experience (B2B or services industry preferred).-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

Communication & Writing: Exceptional copyediting, proofreading, and long-form writing skills with strict attention to brand voice.

Design & Layout Skills: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva for digital and print layout creation.

Digital Platforms: Hands-on experience managing intranets, email marketing platforms (HTML/template builders), social platforms (mostly LinkedIn and Facebook), and CRM systems.

Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines across departments in a fast-paced environment.
