2nd Shift - Plastics Machine Operator: Long-Term Employment
About Job:
- Set up dies, auxiliary equipment, and operate machines to produce extruded or injection molded thermoplastic product required per specification.
- Troubleshoot, when necessary, to resolve a part quality issue or equipment problem.
- Perform and document preventive maintenance requirements for equipment and tooling within the department.
- Issue necessary job order paperwork and labels to the workstation.
- Assist in establishing equipment and facility needs for the Plastics Department.
- Sustain Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Deliver high-quality products on time.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience working in plastics or injection molding
- The ability to read and write English legibly
- Basic skills using electrical and mechanical measurement tools
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Data entry skills
