Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Maintain high standards of food handling and hygiene practices in compliance with health regulations.
- Support the kitchen team by organizing ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Help with inventory management and restocking kitchen supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of hospitality practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terms is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
