Duties/Responsibilities:
- Educate clients on the importance of quality veterinary care and confidently answer questions regarding their pets
- Prepare medications accurately and safely
- Prepare patients for surgery, monitor anesthesia, and assist with patient recovery
- Perform dental prophylaxis and assist with dental procedures
- Perform venipuncture and administer IM, SQ, and IV injections
- Assist doctors in exam rooms, including safe and effective patient restraint and maintaining accurate medical records
- Obtain and position patients for radiographs
- Maintain cleanliness of the hospital, including surgical instruments and equipment
Schedule:
- Full-time position (32–40 hours per week)
- Four 10-hour shifts
- No weekends

Requirements:
- Current veterinary technician certification in good standing required
- Graduation from an AVMA-accredited program preferred (eligible for higher compensation)
