Sales Representative Job DescriptionPosition Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing customer relationships, and driving cabinet sales. This position requires excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service while achieving sales goals.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, remodelers, dealers, distributors, and retail customers.
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and follow-up.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and sales opportunities.
- Represent Solis Cabinetry in a professional manner at all times.
Customer Service
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, email, website chat, and in person.
- Assist customers in selecting cabinet styles, colors, accessories, and product options.
- Educate customers on cabinet construction, materials, specifications, and installation requirements.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Quotes & Orders
- Prepare accurate quotations based on customer requirements.
- Review measurements, specifications, and drawings before submitting orders.
- Enter orders accurately into the company's order management system.
- Verify pricing, discounts, freight charges, and lead times.
- Process change orders, returns, and warranty requests.
Order Management
- Track customer orders from purchase through delivery.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, operations, purchasing, and customer service departments.
- Communicate order status and shipping updates to customers.
- Follow up after delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
CRM & Documentation
- Maintain accurate customer records.
- Record all customer interactions, quotations, and follow-up activities.
- Update customer information regularly.
- Maintain organized digital records.
Communication
- Answer inbound calls professionally.
- Make outbound calls to follow up on quotations and opportunities.
- Return customer messages promptly.
- Build long-term customer relationships.
Product Knowledge
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all cabinet products.
- Stay informed about pricing, promotions, new products, and company policies.
- Attend product training as required.
Teamwork
- Work closely with warehouse, operations, customer service, and accounting.
- Assist other departments when necessary.
- Participate in company meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Cabinet, kitchen, construction, or building material experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, CRM, email)
- English required; Spanish is a plus
- Valid driver's license preferred

Sales Representatives are expected to:

Pay: $3,500.00 per month
Work Location: In person
