Food Bank of Iowa seeks a motivated distribution center worker for our Des Moines facility. Weekday shift, 40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime. Primary duties include pulling orders for our partner food pantries and feeding sites; safely operating equipment; and receiving, unloading, warehousing and documenting product. This role also assists in maintaining a clean, safe, orderly warehouse. This is a fast-paced job ideal for someone who likes to keep moving throughout the day. The ability to consistently lift or move 60+ pounds and work inside freezers and coolers is required. Knowledge of distribution center operations and procedures is preferred; previous grocery or warehouse experience is a plus. Collaborative working environment.
