Job Summary
Corktown Taphouse is looking for a dynamic, guest-obsessed Mixologist/Bartender to join our high-performing team. This role blends craft, creativity, and hospitality excellence inside one of Detroit's most exciting experiential venues - home to Michigan's largest self-pour tap wall, duckpin bowling, Sega AR darts and two unique kitchens.
Our ideal candidate is a storyteller behind the bar - someone who can craft exceptional cocktails, guide guests through all Corktown Taphouse has to offer, and elevate every interaction with personality, precision, and Detroit pride. Duties
- Create high-quality cocktails with consistency, speed, and attention to detail
- Maintain expert knowledge of spirits, and mixology techniques
- Guide guests through our cocktail specials and help them create their own special cocktail
- Ensure all beverages meet Corktown's elevated presentation and flavor standards
- Batch, prep, and maintain cocktail ingredients, garnishes, and syrups
- Deliver warm, energetic, guest-first service that reflects Corktown's brand
- Execute opening, closing and shift-change procedures with precision
- Skills
- Advanced cocktail-making and mixology technique
- Strong knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and flavor balance
- Ability to create consistent, high-quality drinks in high volume
- Ability to read the room and elevate the vibe
- Mastery of bar organization, cleanliness and POS proficiency
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and compliance
- Inventory awareness and ability to communicate stock needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour
