Duties
- Coordinate and oversee various events, including live performances, community programs, and special shows, ensuring everything runs seamlessly from start to finish
- Manage guest interactions with professionalism and warmth, addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts swiftly, and enhancing overall guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately during ticket sales, concessions, and merchandise purchases while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with seating arrangements, answering questions about shows or amenities, and ensuring their experience exceeds expectations
- Supervise food service operations within the theater’s concessions area, ensuring compliance with health standards and delivering prompt service
- Utilize public speaking skills to introduce performances, engage audiences during events, and promote upcoming shows or theater programs
- Collaborate with team members to manage crowd control, enforce safety protocols, and maintain a lively yet safe environment for all visitors
Qualifications
- Proven experience in events management or hospitality settings, preferably within a theater or resort environment
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
- Excellent customer service and guest services skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for diverse audiences
- Cash handling experience with accuracy and integrity in financial transactions
- Lifeguard experience or certification is a plus; familiarity with safety protocols is highly valued
- Working with children experience is desirable for engaging younger audiences during family-friendly shows or programs
- Public speaking abilities to confidently introduce performances and interact with audiences during events
- Background in food service or hospitality roles enhances your ability to manage concessions and enhance guest experiences
