Job Description:
We are seeking caring and dependable individuals to join our Day Program team. In this role, you will support adults with disabilities in a facility-based setting by encouraging personal growth, promoting independence, and creating engaging daily experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist participants with daily living activities while promoting independence.
- Support personal care needs and medication assistance as required.
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities such as arts, crafts, music, games, and life skills development.
- Encourage participation in social and recreational programming.
- Monitor participant progress and complete required documentation accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to provide consistent, high-quality support.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all participants.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for extended periods and assisting with mobility when needed.
- Ability to successfully complete required background screenings and employment clearances.
- Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience is not required; paid training is provided.
- Candidates from customer service, retail, hospitality, food service, education, healthcare, childcare, or other people-focused backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
