Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license recognized in Colorado
- Master’s degree or above in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Demonstrated experience with special education evaluation, assessment, and related documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEP development and best practices in special education
- Flexibility and reliable travel for work across two elementary sites
- Commitment to ethical standards and cultural sensitivity
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological and academic assessments for students referred for special education services
- Interpret evaluation results and participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop, monitor, and review IEPs
- Recommend strategies and supports to facilitate student learning and address behavioral or emotional needs
- Contribute to a positive school climate by providing consultation and intervention support as needed
- Ensure all district, state, and federal compliance in reporting and documentation
