Responsibilities:
- Perform massage therapy techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address clients' specific needs
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify any contraindications or precautions
- Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a comfortable and professional environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of treatments and progress notes
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques
- Adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards in the provision of massage therapy services
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in various massage therapy techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy and cupping
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology related to massage therapy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
