Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer who is seeking a skilled and versatile Machine/Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their growing team in Clayton, NC. This is a direct hire opportunity working Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of production machinery and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain and repair facility infrastructure, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance
- Track and log maintenance work using CMMS or other maintenance management systems
- Assist with equipment installation, setup, and calibration
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime
- Work with outside vendors and contractors as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in industrial machine maintenance and facility maintenance
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Experience with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and meters
- Basic welding and fabrication skills a plus
- Familiarity with OSHA and Electrical safety standards
- HVAC and Electrical certifications preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
