We are seeking experienced, compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team at Brendas Place. DSPs provide essential daily living support in the clients own home, promote independence, and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals we serve in their own home. Part-time position available. Monday-Friday 10am-5:30pm. 20+hours weekly.
Employee must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license, insurance, and a working cellphone. Must be on time for the shift. You will be working with clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional:
- Assist individuals with daily living skills (personal care, cooking, cleaning, transportation, etc.).
- Implement person-centered support plans and positive support strategies.
- Document services provided in compliance with 245D requirements.
- Support community integration and social activities.
- Monitor and ensure the health, safety, and rights of each person served.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and families.
*MUST BE COMFORTABLE AROUND PETS-SMALL DOGS, AND CATS. MUST BE ABLE TO TOUCH PETS or ALLOW THE PET TO TOUCH YOU.

Pay: $17.50 per hour
