Pickerington Local School District is seeking qualified applicants for a full time Theatre Teacher for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
This position will work in both Central Junior High and Lakeview Junior High.
Qualifications:

Valid Ohio license in Theatre Arts or Drama/Theatre (7-12, K-12)

Additional licenses considered would be Communications, Speech/Communications, Speech, English (7-12)

Successful teaching experience for grades 7-12 preferred

Experience and knowledge of current trends in theatre arts

Strong computer/technology skills for program design and advertising

Experience organizing and accounting for finances related to production, ticket sales and donations

Responsibilities include but are not limited to; theatre related activities including acting, production values, securing rights for performances, recruitment of students for participation in productions, hiring assistance for production needs and scheduling in-class activities in relationship to position.

Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations
