Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with precision and care.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning detergents efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Implement proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and outdoor work to ensure safety at all times.
- Maintain organized cleaning schedules, prioritize tasks effectively using time management skills, and complete all duties within designated timeframes.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs, provide updates on cleaning progress, and address any special requests or concerns.
- Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, floors are maintained with proper floor care techniques, and outdoor areas are kept tidy when applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management, including janitorial experience or outdoor work experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning methods, carpet cleaning techniques, and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
