Wisconsin Valley Building Products, a division of LYCON INC., is currently hiring an Inside Sales Manager. In this role, you will provide sales and customer service support to retail and contractor customers, both in person and over the phone. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, training new sales reps, entering orders in the system, reviewing and pulling orders, and ensuring customers' needs are met in a professional and timely manner. You will also ensure that products are received, stored, and delivered accurately and efficiently.
Store Duties:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and product vendors
- Train and motivate inside sales reps
- Develop and implement product and sales strategies to find new and useful products for customers and increase revenue
- Collaborate with purchasing to forecast sale projections for product inventory and ordering
- Assist walk-in and call-in customers with product questions, applications, and pricing
- Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases
- Follow up with customers through phone and email regarding order status, pricing, and product questions
- Process customer payments, enter sales orders, purchase orders, inventory transfers, inventory information, and pricing through computer software
- Assist in physical inventory counts
- Work with Accounting to resolve inventory discrepancies, payment issues, and set up new customer accounts
- Organize, price, and display products in the showroom
Warehouse / Yard Duties:
- Safely operate forklift, pallet jack, and telehandler to load and unload material
- Receive orders and confirm quantity is accurate and material is in good condition
- Assist in fulfilling customer orders and inventory transfers (packaging, palletizing, etc.)
- Assist with providing delivery information to delivery driver for customer deliveries and internal deliveries
- Assist in maintaining branch - cleaning, snow removal, organizing products, supplies, and equipment
Qualifications:
- Able to safely operate forklift, telehandler, power tools, and other equipment as needed
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Positive attitude and team player
- Able to consistently lift 50 – 100lb items
- Basic math and computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in industry and retail/warehouse environment preferred
- Knowledge of construction products and tools

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
