Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with legal research, analysis, and case preparation using case management software and document management systems such as iManage.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible in accordance with firm protocols.
- Manage data entry tasks related to case information, client records, and court filings while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support legal discovery processes by collecting, reviewing, and organizing evidence and documents for litigation or transactional matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth case progression and address inquiries professionally.
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Skills
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret legal documents and extract relevant information.
- Proven paralegal experience in a law office setting or similar environment.
- Excellent legal drafting skills with a solid understanding of legal terminology and writing standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with familiarity with case management software like iManage or similar systems.
- Exceptional proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all legal documents.
- Experience with document management systems and electronic filing procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high ethical standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Effective client communication skills combined with a customer service-oriented approach.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
