Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrains.
- Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension inspections to keep vehicles running smoothly.
- Repair and replace components related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and other specialized systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety standards.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety and performance meet dealership standards.
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent auto repair shops preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating is a plus.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous.
- Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment safely and efficiently.
- Mechanical knowledge covering transmissions, oil changes, alignment procedures, suspension systems, tire service, shocks & struts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on detailed diagnostics and repairs.

Pay: $30.00 - $80.00 per hour
