High Valley Dermatology is looking for a full and/or part-time Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant. Must be Certified to apply.
We operate as full-range dermatology practice with a surgical emphasis. Qualified candidates need to have an endless positive attitude, computer skills, self starter, and be able to work independently but also as a team player.
The position available is Monday - Friday
Competitive Pay: Based On Experience
Duties to Include:
- Scribing for physician or PA and document accurately in the patent’s EHR.
- Rooming patients, taking HPI and medical history.
- Assisting the physician or PA with all procedures, which include prepping the patient and preparing all necessary equipment and materials.
- Discharging patients and coordinating care and giving patient education materials.
- Maintain exam room supplies and inventory.
- Assists with scheduling tests and treatments and processing referrals to other providers.
- Addressing patient phone calls appropriately
- Assessing and responding to prescription refill requests
- Maintains strict confidentiality
- Treats staff, physicians, visitors, and patients with dignity and respect.
- Performs other related work as required.
- Be comfortable with and have experience with correct injection techniques
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
