Job Summary
We are urgently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team and provide exceptional support to individuals in need of personal care and assistance. This vital role involves delivering high-quality, personalized care in various settings such as private homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, and nursing homes. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition
- Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Support clients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> to ensure safety during transfers
- Document care activities, patient observations, and any incidents clearly and promptly in compliance with healthcare standards
- Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or anxiety
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement personalized care plans for residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s, autism, or other disabilities
- Assist with specialized care such as hospice or memory care, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques including vital signs assessment and dementia or Alzheimer’s care strategies
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times
- Certified in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications like hospice care or working with developmental disabilities are a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for patient transfers or mobility assistance
- Excellent observational skills for patient safety and health status updates
- Compassionate communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while maintaining flexibility for individual needs
- Skilled in assisting with medication administration and documenting accurately within healthcare guidelines
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
