Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Line Lead to oversee daily operations on our toy manufacturing production lines. The ideal candidate will lead a team of production associates, ensure quality standards are met, maintain a safe work environment, and help achieve daily production goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing leadership experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 10–30 production employees.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor workflow to meet production schedules.
- Ensure toys are assembled, packaged, labeled, and inspected according to company quality standards.
- Train new employees on work instructions, safety procedures, and production processes.
- Monitor production output and address issues that may impact efficiency or quality.
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
- Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve production issues.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
- Enforce all company safety policies, GMPs, and housekeeping standards.
- Assist with changeovers, line setup, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising a production team preferred.
- Experience in assembly, packaging, or consumer products manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic computer skills for production reporting and documentation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Pay: $18.64 per hour
