Overview
Club Pilates Laurel is seeking a passionate, energetic, and motivated Comprehensively Trained Pilates Instructor to join our growing team! We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to helping members improve their strength, mobility, confidence, and overall wellness through high-quality Pilates instruction.
As a Club Pilates Instructor, you will lead safe, effective, and engaging group reformer classes for members of all fitness levels. You will create a welcoming and supportive environment while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive studio community.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed.
- Develop customized workout programs incorporating principles of body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology to meet individual client needs.
- Educate clients on body awareness, movement efficiency, and injury prevention through clear instruction and demonstrations.
- Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting programs as necessary to optimize outcomes and maintain motivation.
- Promote a welcoming environment that encourages group participation while providing personalized attention when needed.
- Support Club Pilates efforts by engaging clients in fitness programs and helping promote membership packages related to Pilates and group fitness classes.
- Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes.
Skills
- Must be a Comprehensively Trained Pilates Instructor (minimum of 450 hours for certification process)
- Proficiency in the full suite of Pilates equipment, including the Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Magic Circle.
- Deep understanding of kinesiology, biomechanics, and postural assessment.
- Ability to design comprehensive Pilates fitness programs that integrate diverse disciplines and backgrounds.
- Passion for health and wellness with a background in Pilate teaching.
- Strong interpersonal skills to motivate clients and foster a supportive community atmosphere.
- Comprehensively Trained in Pilates instruction is required; additional certifications are highly advantageous. Embark on a rewarding journey helping others unlock their full potential through expert Pilates instruction!
