Housekeeping Position – Sarah’s Guest House
Sarah's Guest House is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in a steady weekday role.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
This position is responsible for the daily upkeep of one half of our facility. Another staff member manages the other half of the building.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning guest bedrooms daily as guests check out (11 rooms under this role)
- Full responsibility for laundry (washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens)
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of two kitchens
- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms each day
- Maintaining common areas within the assigned section so they remain clean, welcoming, and guest-ready
- Greeting and interacting with guests as needed throughout the day, providing a friendly and supportive presence
- Ensuring a consistent standard of cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail in a hospitality setting
We are looking for someone who:
- Has prior housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferred but not required)
- Works efficiently and independently
- Is comfortable engaging with guests in a warm, respectful manner
- Takes pride in maintaining clean, welcoming spaces
- Is dependable and consistent with attendance
- Can independently manage a structured daily workflow
Sarah's Guest House provides lodging, transportation, meals and comfort to patients and families of patients receiving medical care in Central New York.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
