We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Process sales using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring all items are scanned correctly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
- Stocking shelves with Freight or Back stock.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not necessary - we will train.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Familiarity with cash registers
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
