Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining the high standards of our hotel or resort. Experience in hospitality management, multilingual abilities, and strong customer service skills are highly valued.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage reservations efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain guest relations by ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay
- Perform night audit responsibilities as needed, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and well-maintained
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests via phone or in person
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, billing, and record keeping
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations preferred; hospitality or resort experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns effectively
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems preferred
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with hospitality standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
