The Iron Barn is seeking a Part-Time Shop Laborer. This position involves both shop and field work, assisting with the fabrication and installation of custom metalwork projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with cutting, preparing, and handling metal materials
- Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep
- Assist with the installation of railings, gates, and other custom metalwork projects
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Run company errands and pick up materials or supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable transportation
- Must be proficient in GMAW
- Prior experience in mig welding, fabrication, construction, or a related trade is preferred, but not required
Compensation:
- Part-time position
- Starting pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
- Opportunities for advancement and wage increases based on performance and experience
