Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and tableware to meet event specifications.
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously, maintaining high standards of food handling and safety.
- Clear tables promptly after service, bussing dishes and resetting spaces for subsequent events or meal periods.
- Support catering operations by transporting food, supplies, and equipment between kitchen and event areas while adhering to food safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet areas before, during, and after events, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate closely with culinary teams to ensure timely delivery of food courses and special guest requests are met with enthusiasm.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing guest needs promptly, managing guest relations with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment is preferred; culinary or restaurant experience is highly valued.
- Familiarity with banquet service procedures, catering operations, or hotel event setups is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling protocols.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
- Experience in bussing, serving, or supporting food service operations in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or hotels enhances your candidacy.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a lively environment requiring quick thinking and adaptability.
