Job Summary
Skewer & Slice is a new fast casual restaurant in Fountain, Colorado, serving handcrafted pizza, fresh kabobs, premium ice cream, specialty coffee, and other made to order menu items. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Pizza Cook who takes pride in quality and enjoys working in a fast paced team environment.
The ideal candidate has experience making pizzas from scratch, working with dough, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. Experience with gas fired or stone deck ovens is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes.
Stretch, top, and bake pizzas with consistency and attention to detail.
Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control.
Assist with general kitchen prep and support other stations when needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen.
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner service.
Help receive and properly store deliveries.
Work as part of a team to provide an excellent guest experience.
Qualifications
Previous pizza or kitchen experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Food safety knowledge is a plus.
