Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction management, project coordination, and a strong understanding of construction site operations. This role requires proficiency in various construction management software and tools, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Develop project schedules to track progress and manage timelines.
- Utilize Viewpoint for project documentation, communication, and collaboration.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Issue contracts and manage contract negotiations with vendors and subcontractors.
- Manage historical renovation and ground up Multifamily projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or project management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating practices and techniques.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ViewPoint.
- Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management.
- Strong time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Effective communication skills with supers, clients, PEs, and others.
