Job Summary
We are looking for reliable Line Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic environment, working closely with other kitchen professionals to deliver delicious meals efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, food safety, and kitchen operations, along with a genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable dining experiences. Pay starts at 18 and can go up to 20 an hour. Must be available, Weekends.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items following established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal assembly, ensuring each dish is presented beautifully and served promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Follow all food safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Help with food portioning, plating, and garnishing to ensure consistency across all dishes.
- Collaborate with team members during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, catering, or dietary department is highly desirable.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques are essential.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Experience with menu planning and meal preparation is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
