We are seeking energetic and dependable Moving Guys to join our dynamic moving team! In this role, you will be the backbone of our moving operations, responsible for safely transporting and handling household and commercial items. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a smooth, efficient move for our clients while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport furniture, boxes, and other household or commercial items using appropriate manual handling techniques.
- Operate various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies to facilitate efficient loading and unloading processes.
- Drive box trucks or personal vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws to ensure timely deliveries.
- Assist with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit.
- Load and unload items onto trucks or storage areas with heavy lifting practices that prioritize safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and inventory using mobile devices or digital logs.
- Communicate professionally with clients to provide excellent customer service throughout the moving process.
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience or experience in commercial driving is highly desirable.
- Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and adhering to traffic regulations.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks or personal vehicles used for delivery purposes.
- Experience operating material handling equipment like pallet jacks or similar devices is a plus.
- Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in warehouse operations involving manual handling equipment operation and material movement.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a courier or <PERSON> driver is advantageous.
