Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Residential and light commercial Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, with experience in both residential and commercial settings along with radiant heating focusing in service. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and boiler systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. The technician will work closely with other tradespeople and clients to deliver high-quality service.
Note: This is a new construction/service job and you will be preforming work on job sites from underground to finish and being able to read plans and manage material is a must.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems and communicate clearly the system needs to homeowners and property managers.
- Perform pipe threading and assemble various plumbing components.
- Conduct construction plumbing tasks including new installations and remodeling projects.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Solder pipes when necessary to ensure secure connections.
- Troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems and provide effective solutions.
- Carry out heavy lifting as required for the installation or removal of plumbing fixtures.
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Be punctual, on time, responsible, and communicate with management about job timing and scheduling.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose residential and light commercial boiler systems.
- Repair and replace boiler systems and be thorough ensuring all details are noted.
- Wire and diagnose and repair wiring for boiler systems
- Install and service hydronic snowmelt systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service plumber.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and drain cleaning equipment.
- Experience in pipe threading, assembly, construction plumbing, and remodeling projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience with boilers and radiant heating/snowmelt systems is a must.
- Experience with Service Titian is a plus.
