Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and meticulous Human Resources / Quality Assurance professional. This role involves monitoring quality standards related to regulatory compliance thought documentation, auditing, and human resources management. The ideal candidate will champion continuous improvement initiatives, manage compliance projects, and uphold quality assurance standards aligned with industry regulations. Your expertise will help maintain our commitment to delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality human resources practices that support our organizational goals and regulatory obligations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the health, safety and well-being of all Y.E.S. The Arc’s consumers.
- Demonstrate respect and promote choice for all of the consumers we support.
- Act as an appropriate role model and support consumers in using appropriate language, dress, manners and respect.
- Take an active role in the recruitment of agency employees. This includes, but is not limited to, developing a working partnership with the Workforce Connection /DES and Yavapai College; participating in local Job Fairs; community involvement; and newspaper advertising.
- Respond to employment inquiries by potential candidates and distribute employment packets.
- Receive and screen all incoming employment applications. Ensure that all required documents and information are complete.
- Schedule interviews with the appropriate administrative personnel.
- Process all newly hired employees and conduct employee orientation.
- Draft, document and track employee disciplinary actions / reviews.
- Communicate via the appropriate method any changes in an employee’s status to all the appropriate personnel.
- Oversee and ensure that employees receive all required trainings and are retrained as required and/or as needed. This includes the tracking, scheduling and documenting of trainings as well as the preparations of certificates of completion.
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED; and
- Quality inspection or auditing experience.
- Must have a professional and mature demeanor with excellent people and communication skills. Possessing a high regard for confidentiality is of utmost importance.
- Must possess time management and organizational skills, be detail orientated and able to multi-task.
- Be self-motivated, self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have strong computer skills including experience in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet usage.
- Possess good typing and grammatical skills.
- The ability to work flexible hours.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must be fingerprinted and able to obtain and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Must possess a valid Arizona Drivers License.
- Must possess and maintain a clean 39-month driving record (no major traffic violations and not more than two minor traffic violations).
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
- Experience with the implementation of corrective action programs.
- DDD/HCBS industry-specific experience preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
