JOB SUMMARY:
The Vice President Finance is a key member of the finance leadership team and serves as a strategic partner to the CFO and business leadership. The role is responsible for leading financial planning, business performance management, financial reporting, and finance operations, ensuring that the company delivers its financial objectives while maintaining strong governance and controls.
The VP Finance oversees the FP&A function and the Financial Control function, driving alignment between forward-looking business planning and accurate financial reporting.
The position is based in Tulsa, OK.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Finance Leadership
- Lead and develop the finance organization.
- Establish clear objectives, priorities, and performance measures for the finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and business partnership.
Strategic Planning & Performance Management
- Lead the annual budget, strategic plan, and rolling forecast processes.
- Drive business performance reviews and management reporting.
- Provide insight into revenue growth, gross margin, profitability, working capital, and cash flow.
- Support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, investments, and business transformation projects.
Business Partnering
- Partner with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, R&D, and Executive Management.
- Challenge assumptions and ensure business decisions are supported by robust financial analysis.
- Drive value creation through improved financial visibility and decision support.
Financial Control & Governance
- Provide leadership and oversight of the Group's financial reporting, accounting, internal control, compliance, and governance framework through the Financial Controller.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and reliable monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a robust internal control environment and drive continuous improvements in finance processes, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee external audits, tax compliance, statutory reporting, and relationships with auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
- Support enterprise risk management activities and ensure financial risks are identified, assessed, and appropriately managed.
- Ensure finance operations are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives
- Together with the AXEL Group function, manage the insurance programs and broker relationships, ensuring adequate coverage and cost-effective risk mitigation across all operations and also coordinate claims management in US.
- Be familiar with and support the effort of implementing the quality policy and ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 (if applicable) Quality Management Systems
Cash Flow & Working Capital
- Lead the Group’s cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and ensure adequate funding for operations and strategic initiatives.
- Drive initiatives to optimize inventory, receivables, and payables performance.
- Support capital allocation decisions, investment evaluations, and business case development.
- Partner with operational leadership to improve cash conversion and return on invested capital.
Finance Systems & Process Improvement
- Lead finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting quality, and process efficiency.
- Drive the adoption of ERP, BI, and analytics tools.
- Promote automation, standardization, and data-driven decision-making.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Provides direct supervision to Financial Controller and FP&A Manager.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; issuing rewards and performance correction; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Strong background in both FP&A and financial control
- Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of confidentiality and ethical conduct
- Must be well organized and self-directed
- Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance required.
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
- Minimum of eight years of hands-on experience in finance leadership role in an international manufacturing/production environment required.
